The Bixler Manufacturing Company was a diner manufacturing company. In Fremont and then Norwalk, Ohio it made diners from 1931 to 1937. The Bixler Diner was noted for its wide swath. The diners were characterized by their two wide double hung windows and barrel roof with a fancy profile at the ends. History The company opened in the midst of the Great Depression by Louis C. Antley–Bixler syndrome is a rare, severe autosomal recessive congenital disorder characterized by malformations and deformities affecting the majority of the skeleton and other areas of the body. Paul Bixler
Paul O. Bixler (January 25, 1907 – November 18, 1985) was an American football player, coach, and administrator and basketball coach. He served as the head football coach at Ohio State University for one season in 1946 and at Colgate University from 1947 to 1951, compiling a career record of 18–30–4. Bixler was also the head basketball coach at the University of Akron (1936–1939) and Colgate (1939–1941), tallying a mark of 52–27. He later served as director of player personnel for the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League (NFL). Bixler was a 1929 graduate of Mount Union College where he was a member of Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity and played guard and fullback on the football team. Cedric Bixler-Zavala (born November 4, 1974) is an American singer and songwriter. He is the lead singer and lyricist of the progressive rock band The Mars Volta and the only constant member of the post-hardcore group At the Drive-In, for which he is the lead singer and occasional guitarist. Solon Ben Wixler (born January 4, 1977) is an American indie rock musician. He was Guitarist for the bands Thirty Seconds to Mars (2001-2003) and Earlimart. He is currently the lead male vocal and guitar player in the band Great Northern. Early life He was born as Solon Ben Wixler to a musically inclined family, whose musical past included a band called The Wild Blue Yonder, which included his parents and uncle. Solon started to play drums at the age of four. Music was heavily involved in Solon and his brother's lives. His mother died in the early 1980s. His father later remarried and had another child.
