Biswajit Das, (18 August 1936 – 30 December 2004) was an Odia playwright, short story writer, film director and script writer. Early life Das was born on 18 August 1936 at Jajpur, a sub-division of the Cuttack in Odisha Odisha (English: , ), formerly Orissa ( the official name until 2011), is an Indian state located in Eastern India.
