	Bissett, Manitoba Bissett is a community situated on Rice Lake in the southeastern region of Manitoba, Canada, classified as a northern community and designated place. Located two and a half hours northeast of Winnipeg on Provincial Road 304, Bissett is an entry point to Nopiming Provincial Park. At the moment, it's somewhat more commonly Irish, descending from the Bissett family, who arrived in what is now County Antrim in Ulster in the mid-thirteenth century from Scotland.
