Bishop (Marvel Comics)
Lucas Bishop is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, particularly titles associated with the X-Men. He first appears as a member of Xavier's Security Enforcers (XSE), a Mutant (Marvel Comics), mutant police force from a dystopian future of the Marvel Universe. He travels to the 20th century and joins the X-Men, a team he knew only as legends. Bishop experiences difficulty adjusting to the norms of the time period. Bishop made frequent appearances in X-Men: The Animated Series, the ''X-Men'' animated series of the 1990s. Bishop was portrayed by Omar Sy in the 2014 film ''X-Men: Days of Future Past''. Larry Stroman
Larry Stroman is an American comic book artist and writer. After first gaining attention illustrating the Epic Comics series ''Alien Legion'' (vol. 2), he went on to illustrate various Marvel Comics books such as ''The Uncanny X-Men'', ''X-Factor'', ''Ghost Rider'' (vol. 2) and ''Punisher'', as well as work for other companies, such as DC Comics' ''Darkstars'' and Dark Horse Comics' ''The Mark''. He briefly published a creator-owned series called '' The Tribe'' with Image Comics in the early 1990s. Career Stroman was interested in comic books from a very young age; until he could afford to buy them himself he would read comics handed down to him from his brother or loaned from friends. District X, also known as Mutant Town or the Middle East Side, is a fictional location appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. It is a neighborhood in New York City primarily populated by mutants, first seen during Grant Morrison's run on the series '' New X-Men'' in ''New X-Men #127''. The ghetto was established in Alphabet City, Manhattan (also known as Loisaida), a neighborhood in the East Village (located between Avenues A to D, and between Houston and 14th Streets). Mountjoy is a fictional mutant character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character first appeared in ''Bishop: The Mountjoy Crisis'' #1. Days Of Future Past
"Days of Future Past" is a storyline in the Marvel Comics comic book ''The Uncanny X-Men'' issues #141–142, published in 1981. It deals with a dystopian future in which mutants are incarcerated in internment camps. An adult Kate Pryde transfers her mind into her younger self, the present-day Kitty Pryde, who brings the X-Men to prevent a fatal moment in history that triggers anti-mutant hysteria. The storyline was produced during the franchise's rise to popularity under the writer/artist team of Chris Claremont, John Byrne and Terry Austin.
