Bisarjan
''Bisarjan'' is a 2012 Bengali drama directed by Suman Mukhopadhyay. The play is based on Rabindranath Tagore's ''Bisarjan'' (1890). Plot Tagore's work was on how humans lost out their paradise trying to satisfy a god who wanted for animal sacrifice. Mukhopadhyay, in this play, has interpreted the theme of sacrifice at various levels. It is a story based around goddess Kali and how the King believes she does not want animal sacrifice. The priest, on the other hand, believes he is considering the goddess a subject of his court that he can control. ''Bishorjan'' () is a 2017 Bengali language, Bengali film written and directed by Kaushik Ganguly, produced by Opera Productions. It stars Abir Chatterjee, and Cinema of Bangladesh, Bangladeshi actress Jaya Ahsan. The story revolves around a love story between a Bangladeshi Hindu widow and Indian Muslim businessman, who one day washes up on the Bangladesh side of the Ichamati River, Ichamati river. Suman Mukhopadhyay ( bn, সুমন মুখোপাধ্যায়; born 20 November 1966) is an Indian film director.His popular films are Herbert (film), Kangal Malsat, Shesher Kobita (2014). Govinda Manikya
Govinda Manikya (d. 1676) was the Maharaja of Tripura from 1660 to 1661 and again from 1667 to 1676. Though viewed as a capable and successful ruler, Govinda's reign was interrupted by his temporary overthrow and usurpation by his younger brother. Life The eldest son of Maharaja Kalyan Manikya, Govinda succeeded upon the latter's death in 1660. However, he was overthrown within a year of his ascension by his brother, Chhatra Manikya, who claimed the throne with the aid of the Mughal Empire, forcing Govinda into exile.
