The Peddlers were a British jazz/soul trio of the 1960s and 1970s. Led by organist Roy Phillips, they had hits with "Birth" and " Girlie". They were very popular in New Zealand during the 1970s. The Barron Knights are a British humour, humorous pop rock group, originally formed in 1959 in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire,Colin Larkin (writer), Colin Larkin, ''Virgin Encyclopedia of Sixties Music'', (Muze UK Ltd, 1997), ), p. 32 as the Knights of the Round Table. Career They started out as a straight pop group, and spent a couple of years touring and playing in English dance halls before making their way to Hamburg, Germany.
