Diane Patrick (born January 9, 1946) is a politician from Texas. She currently serves as the District 3 representative on the Tarrant County College District Board of Trustees. Prior to that, she served as a Republican Party (United States), Republican in the Texas House of Representatives from 2007 to 2015, and on the Texas State Board of Education from 1992 to 1996. Personal life Patrick earned a bachelor's degree from Baylor University with a major in elementary education. She then went on to the University of North Texas where she earned a master's of education and then a Ph.D. in philosophy/educational administration. With her husband, Ned, she has two children, Craig and Claire. She lives in Arlington, Texas and is a member of the Junior League. Richland High School is a secondary school located in North Richland Hills, Texas. The school includes grades 9 through 12, and is part of the Birdville Independent School District. Background Richland High School opened in 1961 as the second high school in the Birdville Independent School District. The school colors and emblem of blue and gray, the Confederate flag and mascot of the Rebels was chosen by students and approved by the Birdville School Board. The school was expanded over time to meet the needs of the community, including a major expansion in the late 1980s that added a new main entrance, classroom wing, cafeteria, and administration offices. Haltom High School is a grade 9-12 high school located in Haltom City, Texas. Athletics The Haltom mascot is the Buffalo, and school colors are black, orange, and white. For the biennium 2020-2022, the Texas UIL classified the school as 6A, and assigned the school's sports teams to District 3 (6A-3). History Originally known as Birdville Academy when it opened in 1858, Haltom High School was named Birdville High School when Birdville ISD was incorporated in 1926.
