Billy Shields
William Dean Shields (born August 23, 1954) is an American former professional American football, football player who was an offensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL). He who played eleven seasons for the San Diego Chargers (1975–1983), the San Francisco 49ers (1984), the Kansas City Chiefs (1985) and the New York Jets (1985). Shields attended Georgia Institute of Technology. He was inducted into the Georgia Tech Hall of Fame in 1985. San Diego Chargers
The San Diego Chargers were a professional American football team that played in San Diego from 1961 until the end of the 2016 season, before relocating to Los Angeles, where the franchise had played its inaugural 1960 season. The team is now known as the Los Angeles Chargers. The Chargers' first home game in San Diego was at Balboa Stadium against the Oakland Raiders on September 17, 1961. The Georgia Institute of Technology, commonly referred to as Georgia Tech or, in the state of Georgia, as Tech or The Institute, is a public research university and institute of technology in Atlanta, Georgia.
