Billy Reeves (footballer)
William David Reeves (born 18 December 1996) is a Welsh professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for side Leek Town. He began his career at Port Vale in April 2015, and later went out on loan to Witton Albion, Hyde United and Stafford Rangers. He was released by Port Vale in May 2018 and joined Leek Town via Stafford Rangers later in the year. Career Port Vale Reeves graduated through the Port Vale Academy to sign professional forms in April 2015. He joined Northern Premier League Division One North side Witton Albion on a one-month loan in November 2015. His loan was extended after he established himself in the first team and he went on to make 14 appearances, scoring one goal in a 5–0 win over Harrogate Railway Athletic on 2 January. Wrexham
Wrexham ( ; cy, Wrecsam; ) is a city and the administrative centre of Wrexham County Borough in Wales. It is located between the Welsh mountains and the lower Dee Valley, near the border with Cheshire in England. 2020–21 Northern Premier League
The 2020–21 season was the 53rd season of the Northern Premier League. The league consists of three divisions, the Premier Division at Step 3 of the National League System, and the West and East Divisions at Step 4. As the previous season was terminated due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with all results removed, there were no changes in the allocations of teams for the Northern Premier League. The planned restructuring of the National League System, including the expansion of the Northern Premier League to include a further division at Step 4, was postponed until 2021–22. For this season it was announced to member clubs that the League Cup would not take place during the season. Due to the restrictions on clubs' ability to play matches in the COVID-19 lockdowns, competitions at Steps 3–6 were curtailed on 24 February 2021. The 2019–20 season was the 52nd season of the Northern Premier League. After one season, the two divisions of Division One were re-aligned from West and East to North West and South East. The League announced on 8 July 2019 that the new sponsors for 2019–20 were BetVictor. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, this season's competition was formally abandoned on 26 March 2020, with all results from the season being expunged, and no promotion or relegation taking place to, from, or within the competition. On 30 March 2020, sixty-six non-league clubs sent an open letter to the Football Association requesting that they reconsider their decision. Neil Aspin
Neil Aspin (born 12 April 1965) is an English football manager and former player. A solid defender who could play at centre-back and right-back, he was a good marker and an adept tackler. He made his debut in the English Football League for Leeds United at the age of 16 in February 1982, which would be his only appearance in the First Division (first tier). He spent seven seasons in the Second Division (second tier) with the club, making 244 league and cup appearances and being named as the club's Player of the Year for the 1984–85 season. He was sold to Port Vale for a £150,000 fee in July 1989, and would go on to make 410 appearances in all competitions during a ten-season stay at Vale Park. He was named as the club's Player of the Year in the 1989–90 season and helped the "Valiants" to win the Football League Trophy in 1993. Vale Park
Vale Park is a football stadium in Stoke-on-Trent, England. It has been the home ground of Port Vale F.C. since 1950. The ground has seen its capacity go up and down, its peak being 42,000 in 1954 against Blackpool, although a club record 49,768 managed to squeeze in for a 1960 FA Cup fifth round fixture against Aston Villa. Due to safety restrictions it now has a capacity of 15,036, having undergone major restructuring to make the stadium an all-seater venue in the 1990s.
