Billy J. Smith
William John Smith (4 January 1946 – 27 February 2019) was an Australian television and radio presenter. He is best known for hosting the national game show ''It's a Knockout'' as well as for his rugby league commentary. Radio Smith began his radio career at 4LG in Longreach where he adopted "Billy J Smith" as his on-air moniker after the station manager's reluctance in having someone simply called "Bill Smith" on air. Smith then went to 4LM in Mount Isa before returning to Brisbane where his profile grew during stints at 4IP (becoming one of "The Good Guys") and 4BK during the 1970's and 1980's. At 4BK, Smith would commentate on rugby league games at Lang Park while on top of a cherry picker on the other side of the boundary fence, in violation of the exclusive rights deal struck between Queensland Rugby League and an opposing radio station. Dural, New South Wales
Dural is a suburb of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia 36 kilometres north-west of the Sydney central business district in the local government areas of Hornsby Shire and The Hills Shire. Dural is part of the Hills District. Round Corner is a locality in the south-western part of Dural. History The original inhabitants of the Dural area were the Darug people. Dural is derived from Dooral-Dooral, an Aboriginal name meaning ''a smoking hollow tree''. Michael Christopher de Brenni (born 8 February 1978) is an Australian politician currently serving as the Minister for Energy, Renewables and Hydrogen and Minister for Public Works and Procurement of Queensland. Caxton Street, Brisbane
Caxton Street is a street in the Brisbane suburb of Petrie Terrace in Queensland, Australia. It forms part of the Petrie Terrace Heritage Trail. History Named after merchant, writer and printer William Caxton, the thoroughfare developed considerably alongside the subdivision of land in the 1860s. The ensuing decades saw the construction of The Caxton Hotel (1864), the Baroona Oddfellows hall (1883) and the Prince Alfred Hotel (1887). An electric tramline was constructed between 1897 and 1898. Chris Bombolas (born 12 May 1960) (often known as ''Bomber'') is a communications and media specialist, and a television and radio presenter. A former sports reporter for 21 years with the Nine Network in Brisbane. A former Australian politician, he served for one term as the Labor member for Chatsworth in the Legislative Assembly of Queensland from 2006 to 2009. Bombolas was born in Newcastle, New South Wales.
