Billings is the largest city in the U.S. state of Montana, with a population of 117,116 as of the 2020 census. Located in the south-central portion of the state, it is the seat of Yellowstone County and the principal city of the Billings Metropolitan Area, which had a population of 184,167 in the 2020 census. Stanley Anderson
Stanley Anderson (October 23, 1939 – June 24, 2018) was an American character actor who played Drew Carey's father on ''The Drew Carey Show''. Early years Born in Billings, Montana, Anderson attended Garfield Elementary School, Lincoln Junior High School, and Billings Senior High School. He graduated from San Jose State University in the 1960s with a master's degree in theatre. He had two years of military service in Korea, where he served in a broadcasting post that he compared to the film ''Good Morning, Vietnam.'' John Bohlinger
John Bohlinger, Jr. (born April 21, 1936) is an American businessman and politician who served as the 33rd Lieutenant Governor of Montana from 2005 to 2013. He ran for the office as a Republican on a bipartisan ticket headed by Democratic gubernatorial candidate Brian Schweitzer. Schweitzer and Bohlinger were elected to the governorship and lieutenant governorship in 2004; both were reelected in 2008. Due to term limits, they were unable to run in the 2012 election. Julie Brown (athlete)
Julie Ann Brown (born February 4, 1955) is an American retired distance runner. She won the IAAF World Cross Country Championship in 1975 and represented the United States in the 1984 Summer Olympics in the women's marathon, placing 36th. Brown set the American women's marathon record at the Nike OTC Marathon in 1978, running 2:36:23. Brown concentrated on track and cross-country running prior to the Olympic trials but a victory in the Avon Women's Marathon in 1983 convinced her that she could qualify for the Olympic marathon team. She ran a conservative race staying in the pack until the midway point and broke away finishing second, 37 seconds behind the Olympic trials winner, Joan Benoit Samuelson. She broke the 10,000 metres world record setting a time of 35:00.4 minutes in 1975. William Everett Luckey (July 28, 1934 – February 24, 2018) was an American animator, artist, cartoonist, composer, illustrator, musician, singer and voice actor. He worked at the animation studio Pixar, where he worked as a character designer on a number of films, including ''Toy Story'', ''Boundin''', ''Toy Story 2'', ''A Bug's Life'', ''Monsters, Inc.'', ''Finding Nemo'', ''Cars'' and ''Ratatouille''. Luckey was also the voice of Rick Dicker in ''The Incredibles'', Chuckles the Clown in ''Toy Story 3'' and as Eeyore in ''Winnie the Pooh'' (2011). Joe McIntosh
Joseph Anthony McIntosh (born August 4, 1951) is a former Major League Baseball pitcher. Born in Billings, Montana, McIntosh played for a local American Legion Baseball team as a pitcher and shortstop. After graduating from Billings Senior High School in 1969, he attended Washington State University, where he pitched for the school's baseball team. McIntosh received a degree from Washington State in 1973, and was drafted by the San Diego Padres that year. He began his professional career with the Walla Walla Padres of the Northwest League, posting an 8–6 win–loss record and a 2.44 earned run average (ERA). In 1974, McIntosh was promoted to the Triple-A Hawaii Islanders of the Pacific Coast League, where he was 9–11 with a 5.27 ERA. McIntosh was called up to the Major Leagues later in 1974. Ray Metcalfe (born August 29, 1950) is a politician and political activist in Alaska. Metcalfe has served in the Alaska House of Representatives as a Republican between 1979 and 1983, been active as an activist with the Republican Moderate Party founded by himself, and later became a Democrat, running unsuccessfully for the United States Senate in 2016. Nicholas Pertuit (born April 7, 1983) is a retired American football placekicker. He played college soccer at the University of the Incarnate Word and attended Billings Senior High School in Billings, Montana. He has been a member of the Abilene Ruff Riders, Iowa Barnstormers, San Jose SaberCats and Arizona Rattlers.
