Billal Brahimi ( ar, بلال براهيمي; born 14 March 2000) is a professional footballer who plays as a forward for club Nice. Born in France, he plays for the Algeria national team. Club career Middlesbrough Brahimi is a youth product of Cergy Pontoise, Saint-Ouen-l'Aumône and Leixões. He signed for Middlesbrough from Leixões in 2017. He made his debut for the club on 28 August 2018 in a 2–1 win over Rochdale in the EFL Cup, coming on as a substitute for Muhamed Bešić at the Riverside Stadium. Muhamed Bešić (; born 10 September 1992) is a Bosnian professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Nemzeti Bajnokság I club Ferencváros and the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team. Bešić started his professional career at Hamburger SV, playing mainly in its reserve team, before joining Ferencváros in 2012. Two years later, he moved to Everton, who loaned him to Middlesbrough in 2018 and to Sheffield United in 2019. He went back to Ferencváros in 2021. The 2019–20 Championnat National 2 was the 22nd season of the fourth tier in the French football league system in its current format. The competition was contested by 64 clubs split geographically across 4 groups of 16 teams each.
