Bill Rixon
Barry William Rixon (22 February 1941 – 12 November 2003) was an Australian politician, elected as a member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly. Rixon was born and died in Kyogle, New South Wales. He was educated at Upper Eden Creek Primary School, Lismore High School, Armidale Teacher's College and the University of New England. He was a teacher at Milvale, Glen Innes, Tenterfield and Kyogle from 1960 to 1987. He married Merrilyn and they had two daughters, Serenity and Laura and four sons, Ben, Victor, Luke and Jordan. The New South Wales Legislative Assembly is the lower of the two houses of the Parliament of New South Wales, an Australian state. The upper house is the New South Wales Legislative Council. Thomas George (born 15 January 1949) is an Australian politician who was a member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly from 1999 to 2019. He was educated at St Mary's Primary and Marist Brothers College in Casino. He has worked as a bank officer, a stock and station agent, a real estate agent and a publican. He is married to Deborah. Bruce Duncan
Robert Bruce Duncan (10 October 1928 – 7 May 2005) was an Australian politician. He was the member for Lismore in the New South Wales Legislative Assembly from 1965 to 1988, first as a member of the Country Party and then as an independent. Duncan was born in Lismore to farmer Robert Duncan and his wife Mary Mustard. He was educated at public schools in the Lismore area and became a dairy farmer at Konorigan. On 21 August 1953 he married Marlene Brown, with whom he had two sons. In 1965, Duncan was preselected as one of two Country Party candidates for the marginal Labor seat of Lismore, held by Keith Compton. The Liberal Party also endorsed a candidate, making the seat a three-cornered contest. In the event, Duncan easily led the non-Labor candidates and was able to defeat Compton on the other candidates' preferences. Kyogle () is a town in the Northern Rivers region of northern New South Wales, Australia. It falls within the local government area of Kyogle Council. At the 2016 census, Kyogle had a population of 2,751 people. Kyogle is known as a "gateway" to many national parks including Border Ranges National Park and Toonumbar National Park.
