Bill Patmon
Bill Patmon (born February 13, 1946) is an American businessman and former member of the Ohio House of Representatives who represented the Tenth District from 2011 to 2018. Career Patmon grew up in Cleveland and graduated from Eastern Michigan University. Patmon was a member of Cleveland City Council from 1990 to 2001, and served as the chairman of its Finance Committee from 1999 to 2001. Patmon initially was in the running for the Congressional seat available following the death of Stephanie Tubbs Jones, but failed to gain momentum. In 2009, he ran for mayor of Cleveland, but lost to Frank G. Jackson. Ohio House Of Representatives
The Ohio House of Representatives is the lower house of the Ohio General Assembly, the state legislature of the U.S. state of Ohio; the other house of the bicameral legislature being the Ohio Senate. The House of Representatives first met in Chillicothe on March 3, 1803, under the later superseded state constitution of that year. In 1816, the capital was moved to Columbus, where it is located today. Members are limited to four successive two-year elected terms (terms are considered successive if they are separated by less than four years). Time served by appointment to fill out another representative's uncompleted term does not count against the term limit. There are 99 members in the house, elected from single-member districts.
