Bill Greenwood (reporter)
William Warren Greenwood (March 28, 1942 – January 19, 2020) was an American television reporter known for his work with ABC News. Greenwood was hired by ABC News in October 1979. Prior to working with ABC News, Greenwood worked for stations WZRO in Jacksonville Beach, Florida, and WMBR in Jacksonville, before moving to WPDQ in 1964. In 1966, he joined station WWDC in Washington, D.C. He was part of the ABC News team that won the 2005 Edward R. WQOP
WQOP (1460 AM) is a radio station licensed to serve Jacksonville, Florida. The station is owned by Relevant Radio, Inc., and broadcasts a Catholic radio format. History In Tampa Frank J. Reynolds established WMBR in Tampa in 1927; it was licensed by the Department of Commerce to the Premier Electric Company in January. First broadcasting for an hour a week, By June of that year, it was broadcasting at 1190 kHz with 100 watts. Studios were on Franklin Street and in the Floridan Hotel; the transmitter was on the roof of the hotel. The original frequency of 1190 kHz changed to 1210 kHz when the Federal Radio Commission (FRC) enacted General Order 40 on November 11, 1928. WBOB (600 kHz) is a commercial AM radio station in Jacksonville, Florida. The station airs a talk radio format and is owned by Chesapeake-Portsmouth Broadcasting Corporation. Weekdays begin with a local news and information show, followed by mostly syndicated programming, including shows from Mark Levin, Mike Gallagher, Dennis Prager, Jay Sekulow and Red Eye Radio. Most hours begin with Townhall News. Some hours are paid brokered programming. The station calls itself "Talkradio AM 600 & FM 101.1 WBOB". By day, WBOB is powered at 50,000 watts, the maximum power permitted for commercial AM stations by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
