Larry Flynn (April 10, 1930 – September 14, 2007), of Holly Hill, Florida, USA, was a ''NASCAR Grand National'' race car driver that competed in eight races from 1955 to 1961. Career Prior to 1955, Flynn would compete exclusively at the Daytona Beach Road Course for the "Modified" and "Sportsman" divisions of NASCAR. William Walter Brown (July 19, 1855 – January 11, 1941) was an American pioneer rancher in central Oregon. He owned two large ranches between Burns and Prineville, Oregon. Together, his properties comprised one of the largest privately owned sheep and horse operations in the United States. He was known as the ''Horse King of the West'' and the ''Millionaire Horse King'' because over 10,000 horses carried his ''Horseshoe Bar'' brand. Brown was also a well-known philanthropist who gave hundreds of thousands of dollars to a wide range of religious and educational institutions. Early life Brown's parents, Samuel Brown and Hannah (Ellis) Brown were both born in England. Their families immigrated together to the United States in 1848. Bill Brown is a former morning news anchor for WJAC-TV, the NBC network affiliated television station serving the Johnstown- Altoona-State College, Pennsylvania metropolitan area. Brown began as a journalist for the ''Latrobe Bulletin'' and the ''Greensburg Tribune-Review''. He joined WJAC in 1982 as a weekend reporter and weatherman. He became the anchor for the ''NewsCenter 6 at Noon'' weekday broadcast in 1984. In 1985, he became the anchorman for the station's new Sunrise news broadcast. He holds both of these positions today. In 2002, he came under controversy when he said profanities on the air. On a live promo before the noon news, Brown did not realize he was on the air. When he realized he was, he uttered, "Oh shit!" William Walter Charles Brown (4 December 1920 – 26 June 2001) was an Australian politician who served as a Senator for Victoria from 1969 to 1970 and 1971 to 1978, representing the Labor Party. Born in Melbourne, he was educated at state schools and then at Taylor's College, after which he became an apprentice cabinet-maker. He served in the military from 1941 to 1946, and was an organiser and Victorian Secretary of the Federated Furnishing Trades Society. In 1961, he served as President of the Melbourne Trades Hall Council, and as President of the Victorian Labor Party 1965–1968. Bill Brown (born August 21, 1944) is a Republican politician from Oklahoma who was a member of the Oklahoma Senate. A native of Henryetta, Oklahoma, he lives in Broken Arrow and represented District 36. He cannot run for reelection in 2018 because of state term limits law. Early life and career Brown holds a B.
