Bilibili Video Satellite
Bilibili Video Satellite was launched by Long March 11 on Yellow Sea waters on 15 September 2020. It was China's first custom-made satellite by Chinese internet company Bilibili. The satellite was developed by Chang Guang Satellite Technology Corporation. Mission Bilibili vice chairman and COO Li Ni (李旎) said in 2020 that the satellite would be able to access remote sensing video and could be used to make popular science videos, which was to include science, technology, humanities and other aspects to encourage the younger generation to remain curious and explore. Farther into the future, the satellite is planned to also customize filming missions for Bilibili users, using the satellite to take orbital photos of the Earth. Changchun Institute Of Optics, Fine Mechanics And Physics
The Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics (CIOMP; ), of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), is a research institution in Changchun, Jilin, China. Jilin-1 () is China's first self-developed commercial remote sensing satellite system. The satellites are operated by Chang Guang Satellite Technology Corporation and named after Jilin Province where the company is headquartered. The first set of satellites were launched by Long March 2D in Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center on 7 October 2015, at 04:13 UTC. All launched Jilin-1 satellites are in sun-synchronous orbit (SSO). As of 9 December 2022, there were a total of 23 launches of Jilin-1, and 83 satellites in orbit. The Long March 11 (), or Chang Zheng 11 as in pinyin, abbreviated LM-11 for export or CZ-11 within China (and designated 11H when launched from sea), is a Chinese four stage solid-propellant carrier rocket of the Long March family, which is developed by the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation. It was designed with the ability to launch on short notice and it can launch from road vehicles (CZ-11) and ships (CZ-11H). It is likely based on the DF-31 missile. Yellow Sea
The Yellow Sea is a marginal sea of the Western Pacific Ocean located between mainland China and the Korean Peninsula, and can be considered the northwestern part of the East China Sea. The China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology (CALT) is a major state-owned civilian and military space launch vehicle manufacturer in China and one of the major launch service providers in the world. CALT is a subsidiary of the larger China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC). It was established in 1957 by Dr. Xue-Sen Qian and is headquartered in Fengtai District, Beijing.
