Bikrampur Kings ( bn, বিক্রমপুর কিংস) is a Bangladeshi football club based in Bikrampur, present day Munshiganj. It currently competes in the Dhaka Second Division Football League, the fourth tier of Bangladeshi football. History In 2019, two businesses person Samrat Mohim Talukdar and Farhad Hossain established Bikrampur Kings. The name derived from Munshiganj District, historically known as Bikrampur, which is an old region in Bengal and was a part of the Bhawal Estate. The clubs founder was businessman Samrat Mohim Talukdar, while Bashundhara owned outfit Bashundhara Kings, also had a major part in the clubs formation. Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic in Bangladesh, Bikrampur Kings took part in the 2019–20 Dhaka Third Division Football League. Mizanur Rahman Dawn ( bn, মিজানুর রহমান ডন; born 5 May 1979) is a former association football player from Bangladesh. He played for the Bangladesh national football team. Dhaka Second Division Football League
Dhaka Second Division Football League is the fourth-tier football league in Bangladesh, and the second highest league division in Dhaka. The league was founded in 1948 as the second-tier of the Dhaka League, while Bangladesh were still under the control of Pakistan. Until 1992, it was the second-tier of Bangladeshi football, before being replaced by the now defunct Dhaka First Division Football League, in 1993. In 2012, the league was further demoted into becoming the country's fourth-tier. The two top-finishing teams in the Super League round are automatically promoted to the Dhaka Senior Division League (Dhaka League). Bikrampur
Bikrampur ("City of Courage") was a pargana situated south of Dhaka, the modern capital city of Bangladesh. In the present day, it is known as Munshiganj District of Bangladesh. Munshiganj ( bn, মুন্সীগঞ্জ), also historically known as Bikrampur, is a district in central Bangladesh. It is a part of the Dhaka Division and borders Dhaka District. Bhawal Estate was the second largest zamindari in Bengal (in modern-day Bangladesh) until it was abolished according to ''East Bengal State Acquisition and Tenancy Act of 1950''. History In the late 17th century, Daulat Ghazi was the zamindar of the Ghazi estate of Bhawal. Bala Ram was Diwan of Daulat Ghazi. In 1704, as the consequence of change in the policy of revenue collectionm, Bala Ram's son Sri Krishna was installed as the zamindar of Bhawal by Murshid Quli Khan.
