Big Top Pee-wee
''Big Top Pee-wee'' is a 1988 American comedy film directed by Randal Kleiser. A stand-alone sequel to '' Pee-wee's Big Adventure'' (1985), the film stars Paul Reubens as Pee-wee Herman with Susan Tyrrell, Kris Kristofferson, Penelope Ann Miller, and Valeria Golino in supporting roles. The original music score is composed by Danny Elfman (although he also scored ''Pee-wee's Big Adventure'', he could not use any themes from that film due to contractual restrictions). It was released on July 22, 1988, and grossed $15 million against a $20 million dollar budget. A stand-alone sequel, ''Pee-wee's Big Holiday'' was released in 2016. Randal Kleiser
John Randal Kleiser (born July 20, 1946) is an American film and television director, producer, screenwriter and actor, best known for directing the 1978 musical romantic-comedy film '' Grease''. Biography John Randal Kleiser was born in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, the son of Harriet Kelly ( Means) and Dr. John Raymond Kleiser. He has two brothers. Kleiser attended Radnor High School. As a freshman at the University of Southern California, he appeared in George Lucas' student film ''Freiheit''. (Kleiser also lived in the house that Lucas was renting at the time.) Mihaly "Michu" Meszaros ( Hungarian: Mészáros Mihály; 1 October 1939 – 12 June 2016) was a Hungarian actor, circus performer/entertainer, and stuntman. As an American citizen, he was best remembered as a performer with Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus and for his role in the NBC sitcom '' ALF''. He was tall. Anne Seymour (September 11, 1909 – December 8, 1988) was an American film and television character actress. Personal life Anne Seymour Eckert was born in Manhattan to William Stanley and May Davenport (née Seymour) Eckert (1883–1967) an actress and later curator of the Museum of the City of New York. Jack Murdock (October 28, 1922 – April 27, 2001) was an American actor. He was born in Urbana, Ohio to performer parents. His father had a vaudeville group called Teck Murdock and Company; his mother and her sister had an act called The Kennedy Sisters. The two acts combined as Teck Murdock and the Kennedy sisters.
