''Big Sky'' is a 2015 American drama thriller film directed by Jorge Michel Grau and starring Bella Thorne, Kyra Sedgwick, Frank Grillo, and Aaron Tveit. It was produced by The Archive and Papagjika Salloway Productions. Entertainment One gave it a limited release on August 14, 2015. The film received negative reviews from critics with criticism for the screenplay and Thorne's performance. Plot After their daughter Hazel turns 18, Dee's ex-husband threatens to cut off child support unless Hazel will get treatment for her crippling agoraphobia. Forced to take a van ride to the treatment center, Hazel struggles to enter the van. ''Big Sky'' is a novel by British author Kate Atkinson published in 2019 by Doubleday. It is the 5th novel featuring private investigator Jackson Brodie, but it has been nine years since he last appeared in the novel series. Plot Jackson has separated from his partner Julia and now lives in a village on the coast of North Yorkshire with the occasional company of his teenage son Nathan and an ageing Labrador Dido. He is still a private investigator, mostly his clients asking him to investigate suspicious spouses. He then has a chance rescue of a man on a clifftop. Jackson is then involved in a plot involving human trafficking and murder. With several of the characters from previous outings making appearances in the new novel. Big Sky, Montana
Big Sky is an unincorporated census-designated place (CDP) in Gallatin and Madison counties in southwestern Montana, United States. As of the 2010 census it had a population of 2,308. It is southwest of Bozeman. This unincorporated community straddles both counties, is not considered a town, and does not have a town government. The primary industry of the area is tourism. Geography Big Sky is located at (45.269940, -111.299725), approximately midway between West Yellowstone and Bozeman on U.S. Highway 191 and from the northwestern border of Yellowstone National Park. The "Meadow" area of Big Sky lies in an alpine valley formed during the Cretaceous period.
