''Big Brother Brasil 19'' is the nineteenth season of ''Big Brother Brasil'' which premiered on January 15, 2019 on the Rede Globo. The show is produced by Endemol Shine and presented by Tiago Leifert. The grand prize is R$1.5 million with tax allowances, plus a R$150,000 prize offered to the runner-up and a R$50,000 prize offered to the housemate in third place. On April 12, 2019, 28 year-old bachelor in law Paula von Sperling from Lagoa Santa, Minas Gerais won the competition with 61.09% of the public vote over administrator & entrepreneur Alan Possamai. A worldwide record breaking number of 202.406.432 million votes were cast on week 10's eviction besides being the lowest-rated season ever to date. Tiago Leifert
Tiago Rodrigues de Leifert (born May 22, 1980) is a Brazilian journalist and television presenter. Biography Tiago was born in São Paulo, Brazil. He is the son of Gilberto Leifert, director of market relations for Rede Globo network. Tiago is of Jewish and Portuguese descent. Career Leifert began his career as a reporter for the traditional "Desafio ao Galo", a program dedicated to amateur soccer. He majored in Journalism and Psychology from the University of Miami and was a trainee in Journalism from American network NBC. In 2004 he started working at TV Vanguarda, an affiliate of TV Globo in São José dos Campos, in the interior of São Paulo, where he was editor and presenter of Vanguarda Mix, the broadcaster's youth entertainment program.Leifert started working at Rede Globo presenting the Pro Rad in 2006 and videogame related stories for Esporte Espetacular. The fifth season of the Brazilian competitive reality television series '' No Limite'', based on the international reality game show franchise '' Survivor'', premiered on Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at (BRT / AMT) on TV Globo. ''Big Brother Brasil 20'' was the twentieth season of ''Big Brother Brasil'' which premiered on January 21, 2020, on TV Globo. The show was produced by Endemol Shine and presented by Tiago Leifert. The season originally featured 18 housemates divided into two groups of 9: "Celebrities", composed of actors, singers, professional athletes, and social media personalities, and "Civilians", composed of everyday Brazilians. Viterbo
