''Big Brother 2'' is the second season of the Croatian reality television series '' Big Brother'' that premiered on 4 September to 30 December 2005, and ran for 118 days. Season summary The second season had radical changes in the format of the show — the number of contestants was initially raised from 12 to 14; the pace of evictions and nominations was accelerated, and numbers of contestants were introduced at later stages. The composition of contestants was different—they were much younger, less educated and generally perceived to be less mature. They also tended to represent various sections of the Croatian population, missing in the previous season. This was most evident with Matko Okmažić from Omiš, the 25-year-old son of the restaurant owner, later revealed to be the candidate of far-right parties at local elections. Antonija Blaće
Antonija Blaće (; born 2 October 1979), better known under her maiden surname, is a Croatian TV host and a former contestant of first Croatian season of '' Big Brother''. She is known for her eviction from the ''Big Brother'' house one week before the show's final. She became a regular host since the second season and has since hosted every season of the show. Other than ''Big Brother'', she hosted the first two seasons of Croatian version of '' Idols'' franchise ('' Star Search Croatia''), ''X Factor Adria'', ''Fear Factor'', the culinary show ''Večera za 5'', and ''Uhvati Bingo Ritam''. She works for RTL Televizija and Narodni radio. Personal life She was born in Šibenik in the family of her father Ante Blaće who originally comes from Crnica, a suburb of Šibenik. She has one sister. Croatian Christian Democratic Union
The Croatian Christian Democratic Union ( or HKDU) is a minor right-wing Christian-democratic political party in Croatia. It was founded in 1992 after the merger of Croatian Democratic Party (HDS) and the Croatian Christian Democratic Party (HKDS). Origins The Croatian Christian Democratic Party (''Hrvatska kršćanska demokratska stranka, HKDS'') was created in 1989 and modelled after the Christian-democratic parties of Western Europe, although, due to specific circumstances of early 1990s Croatia, it had more right wing than centre-right rhetoric. In the 1990 Croatian parliamentary election, it joined a bloc of moderate nationalists called the Coalition of People's Accord. Like all parties of that bloc, it fared badly, but one year later it held a ministerial post in the "National Unity" government of Franjo Gregurić.
