''Big Brother 2003'', also known as ''Big Brother 3'', was the third season of the Australian reality television series '' Big Brother''. The season lasted 86 days, starting on 27 April 2003 and ending on 21 July 2003. The season was the most complicated to date with housemates starting in two separate houses - a "round house" and a "square house". Housemate Benjamin Archbold was sent in first and spent the entire first day by himself. Other housemates were progressively admitted. On Night 22, all Housemates were locked into their respective bedrooms and a construction crew spent the night merging the two houses and revealing the hidden swimming pool and kitchen that had been in between the two smaller houses. Housemates were released into their new combined house on the morning of Day 23. Later in the day, a bathroom linking the two bedrooms was revealed. Gretel Killeen
Gretel Killeen (born 3 February 1963) is an Australian comedian, television presenter, media personality and author. She is known for being the host of '' Big Brother Australia'' from its inception in 2001 until the 2007 season (including ''Celebrity Big Brother'' in 2002). Killeen hosted the 2009 ''TV Week'' Logie Awards. Career Television Midday From 1989 to 1991, Killeen was a regular on ''Midday with Ray Martin'' on the Nine Network. ''Big Brother Australia'' (also known simply as ''Big Brother'') is an Australian reality show based on the international '' Big Brother'' format created by John de Mol. Following the premise of other versions of the format, the show features a group of contestants, known as "housemates" who live together in a specially constructed house that is isolated from the outside world. The housemates are continuously monitored during their stay in the house by live television cameras as well as personal audio microphones. ''Big Brother Australia 14'', also known as ''Big Brother Australia 2022'', is the fourteenth season of the Australian reality television series '' Big Brother''. The season was filmed from 12 October through 13 December 2021, and premiered on Seven Network on 9 May 2022. Hosted by Sonia Kruger, the season saw new housemates compete against returning housemates deemed as "Big Brother Royalty". In the series, the Housemates will live in a house together with no communication with the outside world as they competed for $250,000. They were constantly filmed during their time in the house and were not permitted to communicate with those filming them. Over the course of the competition, housemates will compete in challenges for power and safety before voting each other out of the house. The Tower of Terror II was a steel shuttle roller coaster located at the Dreamworld amusement park on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. When the Tower of Terror opened on 23 January 1997, it was the first roller coaster in the world to reach , making it the tallest and fastest roller coaster in the world of its time.
