Big Ass (band)
Big Ass is a Thai rock band. It was originally a pop rock band but the music moved toward hardcore punk in some of the band's recent works. During the band's early years until mid-2012, the band's leading vocalist was Ekkarat "Dax" (or "Dak") Wongchalard. Later half of 2012, Daycha "Jeng" Konalo became the new leading vocalist, replacing Ekkarat in EP ''Dan Neramit'', their seventh album released in April 2013. Their latest album is ''The Lion'', the eighth album released in 2017. History Big Ass released their first album ''Not Bad'' in 1997 on the Music Bugs label. Their second and third albums, ''XL'' and ''My World'', followed in 2000 and 2003. Big Ass won numerous awards for their work but attracted a rather limited audience during their first three albums. The show follows the lives and relationships of a group of secondary school students as they go through school and home life and face various issues. String (Thai Pop)
Thai pop or T-pop, is a genre of Thai music roughly equivalent to western pop. It emerged in the 1970s–80s, during which it was known as string music ( th, เพลงสตริง), before gaining mainstream popularity during the 1990s and has since dominated the Thai music industry. The term is extremely broad, covering Thai rock, dance music, rap and western-influenced popular music in general, though normally excluding the folk and rock-influenced ''phleng phuea chiwit''. ''300'' is a 2006 American epic historical action film based on the 1998 comic series of the same name by Frank Miller and Lynn Varley. Both are fictionalized retellings of the Battle of Thermopylae in the Greco-Persian Wars. The film was co-written and directed by Zack Snyder, while Miller served as executive producer and consultant. It was filmed mostly with a superimposition chroma key technique to replicate the imagery of the original comic book. Leonidas
Leonidas I (; grc-gre, Λεωνίδας; died 19 September 480 BC) was a List of kings of Sparta#Heraclids, king of the Greek city-state of Sparta, and the 17th of the List of kings of Sparta#Agiad dynasty, Agiad line, a dynasty which claimed descent from the mythological demigod Heracles. Leonidas I was son of King Anaxandridas II. He succeeded his half-brother King Cleomenes I to the throne in c. 489 BC. His co-ruler was King Leotychidas. He was succeeded by his son, King Pleistarchus. Suspended Sentence
A suspended sentence is a sentence on conviction for a criminal offence, the serving of which the court orders to be deferred in order to allow the defendant to perform a period of probation. Khun Ying Pornthip Rojanasunand, also spelled Porntip Rojanasunan ( th, พรทิพย์ โรจนสุนันท์; ; born 21 December 1954) is a Thai forensic pathologist and medical doctor. First appearing in the media in 1998, her work and outlandish hairstyles quickly granted her celebrity status, and she became the best known of Thailand's forensic scientists. Bass Guitar
The bass guitar, electric bass or simply bass (), is the lowest-pitched member of the string family. It is a plucked string instrument similar in appearance and construction to an electric or an acoustic guitar, but with a longer neck and scale length, and typically four to six strings or courses. Since the mid-1950s, the bass guitar has largely replaced the double bass in popular music. A backing vocalist is a singer who provides vocal harmony with the lead vocalist or other backing vocalists. Guitar
The guitar is a fretted musical instrument that typically has six strings. It is usually held flat against the player's body and played by strumming or plucking the strings with the dominant hand, while simultaneously pressing selected strings against frets with the fingers of the opposite hand.
