Bichi Emirate
Bichi Emirate is a Hausa traditional emirate in Kano State in Northern Nigeria. Its palace is located in the town of Bichi, Bichi Local Government Area. The Bichi Emirate was established in 2019, when the Kano State Government created four emirates from the oldest kingdom of Kano. The Bichi emirate consists of 9 Local Government Areas of Kano State. These local governments are Bichi, Bagwai, Shanono, Tsanyawa, Kunchi, Makoda, Dambatta, Dawakin Tofa, and Tofa local governments. Bichi is a Local Government Area and a headquarter of Bichi Emirate council in Kano State, Nigeria. Its headquarters are in the town of Bichi on the A9 highway. Bichi was founded by danejawa the white herders under the leadership of Ardo buba the grandfather of Malam danzabuwa Danejawa Danejawa is among the important clans of fulani tribe. Their ancestor was Muhammadu Danejo. They reared pure white cows. They migrated from Chad to Hausa land and settled in Shanono in Kano kingdom. Sanusi Lamido Sanusi (Ajami: سنوسي لاميط سنوسي, ''Muhammadu Sanusi na biyu''; born 31 July 1961), known by the religious title Khalifa Sanusi II (Ajami: خليفة السنوسي), is a spiritual leader in the Tijanniyah Sufi order of Nigeria. Aminu Ado Bayero , (born 10 February 1961) is the 15th Fulani Emir of Kano from the Fulani Sullubawa clan. He ascended the throne on 9 March 2020, following the deposition of his nephew Muhammad Sanusi II by Governor Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje. He is the chancellor of the University of Calabar. Danbatta (or Dambatta or Dambarta) is a Local Government Area in Kano State, Nigeria. It is located about 49 miles north of Kano city at the Northern border of Kano state with Jigawa state.
