Bheeshmar
''Bheeshmar'' is a 2003 Indian Tamil-language crime film directed by actor Ranjith, making his directorial debut. The film stars Ranjith and Devayani, with Rami Reddy, Riyaz Khan, Anu Mohan, Ilavarasu, Vasu Vikram, Sadiq and Baby Prahasitha playing supporting roles. The film, produced by Ranjith's wife Priya Raman, had musical score by S. P. Venkatesh and was released on 27 September 2003. Plot Bheeshmar (Ranjith) is an honest and upright police officer. He is married to Gowri (Devayani), and they have a six-year-old girl named Pappathi (Baby Prahasitha). Bheeshmar is transferred to a new department which is filled with corrupt police officers. Soon, Bheeshmar clashes with policemen Aadhi (Ilavarasu) and Dhandapani (Vasu Vikram), Assistant Commissioner Singampuli (Sadiq), and the heartless politician R. K. ( Rami Reddy). Ranjith (actor)
Ranjith is an Indian actor who appears in Tamil and Malayalam language films. Acting career After completing a course in acting, Ranjith made his acting debut in 1993 with ''Pon Vilangu'', directed by K. S. Rajkumar, was produced by R. K. Selvamani and he acted alongside Rahman, Sivaranjani and Ramya Krishnan. The critic K. Vijayan of ''New Straits Times'' praised Ranjith's acting citing that "Ranjith, despite his big build, impresses in his debut performance." Devayani (born 22 June 1974) is an Indian actress who predominantly appears in Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu-language films. Riyaz Khan
Riyaz Khan is an Indian actor and bodybuilder. He predominantly works in Malayalam and Tamil films and television series, besides acting in a few Telugu and Kannada films, as well as two Hindi films. Anu Mohan (born as David Stanley, on 3 December 1957) is an Indian actor and director who has worked in Tamil language films. Beginning his career as a director, Anu Mohan has gone on to play secondary comedy roles in films, notably portraying a character in ''Padayappa'' (1999). Ilavarasu
Ilavarasu is an Indian cinematographer and actor, who works in the Tamil film industry. He started his career as a cinematographer and worked for 13 films, winning a Tamil Nadu State Film Award for one of them. He, however, became better known as an actor, after he debuted and appeared in pivotal roles in Bharathiraja's and Cheran's films. Chelladurai (1941 - 7 February 2015) was an Indian comedian who worked in Tamil-language films. He acted in over 350 films. Career Chelladurai made his film debut with ''Thooral Ninnu Pochchu'' (1982). He is known for his comic sequences with actor Vadivelu. He became famous for his role in '' Shree'' (2002) as the owner of a wine shop named Prabha. In the scene, Marimuthu (Vadivelu) calls the owner and asks when the shop will open. The owner tells him that the store closed. Vadivelu drinks alcohol and repeatedly disturbs the shop owner during the night. Death Chelladurai was admitted to Keezhpakkam Government Hospital in Chennai due to kidney issues on 8 February after having problems for several months.
