Bhama
Rekhitha R. Kurup, better known by her stage name Bhamaa, is a former Indian actress who mainly appeared in Malayalam and Kannada-language films. She made her cinematic debut in 2007 with the Malayalam film ''Nivedyam'', directed by A. K. Lohithadas and had acted in over 42 films. Personal life Bhama is the youngest daughter of Rajendra Kurup & Shylaja. She has two elder sisters, Reshmitha R Kurup and Renjitha R Kurup. She did her schooling at St. Mary's Higher Secondary School and at Infant Jesus Bethany Covent Girl's Higher Secondary School, Manarcad. She pursued bachelors in Sociology by correspondence course. Bhama is married to Arun Jagadish, a businessman from Chennithala, whose family is settled in Kochi, Kerala. The couple got married in January 2020. They have a daughter. Nivedyam is a 2007 Malayalam language romantic drama movie written and directed by A. K. Lohithadas starring Vinu Mohan and Bhama in important roles. The film marks the debut of Vinu Mohan and Bhama to the film industry. The film also marks the last movie written and directed by A. K. Lohithadas. ''D Company'' is a 2013 Indian Malayalam portmanteau action- thriller gangster drama film. It is an anthology of three independently shot action films directed by M. Padmakumar, Diphan, and Vinod Vijayan. Its cast includes Jayasurya, Anoop Menon, Unni Mukundan, Fahad Fazil and Asif Ali. The Asianet Film Awards is an award ceremony for films presented annually by Asianet, a Malayalam-language television network from the south-Indian state of Kerala. Asianet says that awards ceremony has been instituted to honour both artistic and technical excellence in the Malayalam language film industry. The awards ceremony was co-sponsored by Johnson & Johnson in the year 1998 later Lux took up the sponsorship in the next 5 years. Then Jiva soap in 2004 and then Ujala for many years.
