Bhalobasa Bhalobasa (1985 Film)
''Bhalobasa Bhalobasa'' ( bn, ভালবাসা ভালবাসা) is a 1985 Bengali romantic film directed by Tarun Majumdar. The film stars Tapas Paul and Debashree Roy. Plot Keya is a college student who also goes for music classes in Kolkata. She stays in a girls' hostel whereas Keya's parents and cousin brother stay in Shimultala (Bihar). Arup is a small business man dealing in poultry and also helps poor people with free medicine and education. His mother was a noted singer who had recently passed away from cancer. His father had left his mother for another rich woman when she was expecting Arup. Keya has a fight with Arup when he comes to her hostel to supply poultry. Tarun Majumdar
Tarun Majumdar (or Mazumdar, 22 September 1931 – 4 July 2022) was an Indian film director and Screenwriter who is known for his work in Bengali cinema. He received four National Awards, seven BFJA Awards, five Filmfare Awards and an Anandalok Award. In 1990, the Government of India honoured him with the Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian award. He alongside Sachin Mukherji and Dilip Mukherji made his directorial debut, under the screen name Yatrik, with the 1959 Bengali film '' Chaowa Pawa'' starring Suchitra Sen and Uttam Kumar as the leads. He received his first National Award for the 1962 Bengali film ''Kancher Swarga''. Hemanta Kumar Mukhopadhyay
Hemanta Mukhopadhyay (16 June 1920 – 26 September 1989), known professionally as Hemant Kumar and Hemanta Mukherjee, was a legendary Indian music composer and playback singer who primarily sang in Bengali and Hindi, as well as other Indian languages like Marathi, Gujarati, Odia, Assamese, Tamil, Punjabi, Bhojpuri, Konkani, Sanskrit and Urdu. Pulak Bandyopadhyay (; 2 May 1931 – 7 September 1999) was a Bengali Indian lyricist and songwriter of Bengali cinema. Early life He was born and brought up in Salkia, Howrah. Santu Mukherjee
Santu Mukhopadhyay (14 January 1951 – 11 March 2020) was an Indian actor who worked in Bengali cinema. He was the father of actress Swastika Mukherjee. His younger brother, Sumanta Mukherjee, is also an actor. Early life and biography Santu Mukherjee was born on 17 January 1951 in Kolkata. He attended the Mitra Institution at Bhowanipore at a primary level and later, joined the Padmapukur Institution at Sarat Bose Road, from where he passed his Higher Secondary Examination. He soon dropped out from studies and took dance lessons from Gopal Bhattacharya. He also learned Rabindra Sangeet. He went to renowned director Tapan Sinha, seeking a role in Bengali films.
