Bezons
Bezons () is a commune in the northwestern suburbs of Paris, France. It is located from the centre of Paris. Population Transport An extension of the tramway line T2 to Pont de Bezons opened in 2012. With Bezons not served by any stations on the Paris Mテゥtro, RER, or suburban rail network, the extension has greatly enhanced the connectivity of Bezons to the Paris public transport network. The journey time to the La Dテゥfense business district and transport hub is estimated at 12 minutes. The closest train station is Houilles窶鼎arriティres-sur-Seine located in the neighbouring commune of Houilles, from the town centre of Bezons. It is served by the RER A and Transilien Paris-Saint-Lazare rail lines. Majdi Al-Rimawi controversy In March 2013, the convicted killer of Israeli tourism minister Rehavam Ze'evi, Majdi Al-Rimawi, was named an "honorary resident" of Bezons. テ四e-de-France tramway Line 2 (T2; French: ''Ligne 2 du tramway d'テ四e-de-France'') is part of the modern tram network of the テ四e-de-France region of France. It connects the commune of Bezons in the north to the Porte de Versailles Mテゥtro station in Paris in the south, serving Hauts-de-Seine and its La Dテゥfense business district. The line has a length of and 24 stations. The initial section between La Dテゥfense station and Issy窶天al de Seine station, opened in July 1997, uses a former heavy rail line converted into light rail, whereas the further extensions on both ends opened in November 2009 and November 2012 feature segregated on-street running.
