Comes With The Fall
Comes with the Fall is an American rock band from Atlanta, Georgia formed in 1999. Since 2001, the lineup has been composed of William DuVall (lead vocals, guitar), Adam Stanger (bass), and Bevan Davies (drums, percussion). Nico Constantine was the band's second guitarist before departing in 2001. They served as Jerry Cantrell's backing band in support of his solo album ''Degradation Trip'' in 2002, while DuVall joined Alice in Chains as lead singer during the band's reunion concerts in 2006, becoming an official member in 2008. The band's name is from the cult horror classic Rosemary's Baby that an investigating Mia Farrow spells out on scrabble pieces. Heavy metal (or simply metal) is a genre of rock music that developed in the late 1960s and early 1970s, largely in the United Kingdom and United States. Hard Rock
Hard rock or heavy rock is a loosely defined subgenre of rock music typified by aggressive vocals and distorted electric guitars. Hard rock began in the mid-1960s with the garage, psychedelic and blues rock movements. Some of the earliest hard rock music was produced by the Kinks, the Who, The Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Cream, Vanilla Fudge, and the Jimi Hendrix Experience. In the late 1960s, bands such as Blue Cheer, the Jeff Beck Group, Iron Butterfly, Led Zeppelin, Golden Earring, Steppenwolf and Deep Purple also produced hard rock. Riff
A riff is a repeated chord progression or refrain in music (also known as an ostinato figure in classical music); it is a pattern, or melody, often played by the rhythm section instruments or solo instrument, that forms the basis or accompaniment of a musical composition. Though riffs are most often found in rock music, heavy metal music, Latin, funk, and jazz, classical music is also sometimes based on a riff, such as Ravel's Boléro. Riffs can be as simple as a tenor saxophone honking a simple, catchy rhythmic figure, or as complex as the riff-based variations in the head arrangements played by the Count Basie Orchestra. Six-string Guitar
The guitar is a fretted musical instrument that typically has six strings. It is usually held flat against the player's body and played by strumming or plucking the strings with the dominant hand, while simultaneously pressing selected strings against frets with the fingers of the opposite hand. Kyuss
Kyuss ( ) was an American rock band, formed in Palm Desert, California, in 1987. The band disbanded in 1995, and since then, members of Kyuss have gone on to form or play in several notable bands including Queens of the Stone Age, Fu Manchu, Dwarves, Eagles of Death Metal, Mondo Generator, Hermano, Unida, Slo Burn and Them Crooked Vultures. In November 2010, three former members of the band (minus Homme, who declined to participate) reunited under the adapted moniker "Kyuss Lives!" for a world tour with plans to record a new album at some point. A federal lawsuit subsequently filed by Homme resulted in Oliveri leaving the band in March 2012, and five months later a court ruled that Garcia and Bjork were not allowed to release audio recordings under the Kyuss Lives! moniker. Audioslave was an American Rock music, rock supergroup (music), supergroup formed in Glendale, California, in 2001. William DuVall
William Bradley DuVall (born September 6, 1967) is an American musician best known as the current co-lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist for the rock band Alice in Chains. He joined Alice in Chains in 2006, replacing the band's original lead singer, Layne Staley, who died in 2002, and shares vocal duties with guitarist/vocalist Jerry Cantrell. DuVall has recorded three albums with the band: 2009's '' Black Gives Way to Blue'', 2013's ''The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here'', and 2018's ''Rainier Fog''. Bevan Davies is an American musician best known as the drummer for the groups Still Rain, Madfly, Comes with the Fall and Danzig while he is currently a member of MonstrO, a group he formed with former members of Bloodsimple and Torche. Previously, Davies had also been a touring drummer for Jerry Cantrell, Static-X, Engelbert Humperdinck, Cardboard Vampyres, The Mercy Clinic, Invitro and Bloodsimple. Adam Stanger
Adam Stanger is an American musician best known as the bassist for the band Comes with the Fall. '' The Year is One'', the band's second album, was released in 2001 to positive reviews. The following year, Comes with the Fall were announced to be Jerry Cantrell's opening and backing band for his tour in support of ''Degradation Trip'', Cantrell's second solo album. Comes with the Fall toured with Cantrell throughout 2002, while they released a live album, titled '' Live 2002'', the same year. A live DVD '' Live Underground 2002'' towards the end of the 2003 and they planned to record and release a new album by 2004.
