Beyond the aXis of Truth () is a Singaporean Mandarin supernatural/sci-fi crime drama series which aired in June 2001. It stars Edmund Chen, Ivy Lee, Chen Liping, Chen Shucheng & Nick Shen as the casts of this series. Synopsis Forensic pathologist Chen Xueming (Edmund Chen) and CID officer Wu Pinyu (Ivy Lee) work together on several manslaughter cases, each of which involves unnatural phenomenons that can only be described as supernatural such as reality-bending, cryokinesis, walking dead/vampirism, time-travel and plant-human hybrids Case 1: A woman named Liao Yongwei (Vivian Lai) having an extra-marital affair with paraplegic Li Zeyuan (Chen Tianwen) is drowned. When Zeyuan is hospitalised, Yongwei's estranged husband is mysteriously attacked at a bowling alley and later burnt at the hospital. Priscelia Chan Shih Mei, also known as Zeng Shimei, is a Singaporean television actress and host. Career Chan was a tax auditor before taking part in Star Search Singapore 1999. Despite being eliminated in the semifinals, she was offered a contract by TCS (later MediaCorp). Yao Wenlong (, born 14 November 1970) is a Singapore based Malaysian actor. Career Yao entered the local television scene after winning the Star Search 1993 (Male category) organised by then Singapore Broadcasting Corporation (now MediaCorp). Shawn Lee Chuang Rui (; born 11 February 1990), is a Singaporean actor. Yang Libing () is a former Singaporean Mediacorp actress. She was prominently a full-time artiste from 1983 to 2009.
