Beyond Humanity
''Beyond Humanity'' is the third full-length album by Interface. It was released by Nilaihah Records on March 14, 2006. The album was the band's first to be recorded and produced entirely within the environment of the computer, with little hardware instrumentation.1 It was also the band's first album in nearly four years thanks to the demise of the Tinman record label at the end of 2005. By that point the band had already committed to recording a new album, and began to shop it to other labels. Landing on Nilaihah in early 2006, the album saw the light of day March 14 with a series of bonus tracks added on. Some of these were remixes of songs on the album while others were of earlier material from ''Angels In Disguise'' songs, and the last track "Doubts And Fears" was exclusive to a compilation CD. To make room for the latter, the band was forced to drop a track from the original listing named "Darkness Prevails", which did appear when the band held a listening party premiere on the ...

The album was the dominant form of recorded music expression and consumption from the mid-1960s to the early 21st century, a period known as the album era. Vinyl LPs are still issued, though album sales in the 21st-century have mostly focused on CD and MP3 formats. The 8-track tape was the first tape format widely used alongside vinyl from 1965 until being phased out by 1983 and was gradually supplanted by the cassette tape during the 1970s and early 1980s; the populari ...

Interface (music Group)
Interface is an electronic music group based on Long Island, New York. It was founded in 1993 by Eric Eldredge (keyboards, sequences, and vocals). Its career has been lined with a steady output of songs and dance remixes for other artists and several lineup shifts. Each of its three albums to date display a blend of various styles of electronic music, most notably trance, synthpop, electro-industrial and aggrotech, with a strong sense of melody and songwriting. Band history The project became a serious entity when Eldredge left another group, Valve, in 1997. The band's inaugural lineup also included Joseph Destry (guitar, vocals) and Mike Cummings a/k/a DJ ANGZTEK (drums). In total Interface released four demo tapes between 1993 and 1998, with little interest from record labels or the music press. DJ ANGZTEK (Mindsett, Absolution) and Destry left Interface in 1998, leaving Eldredge as its sole member. Interface self-released the first LP ''The Artemis Complex'' in January 1999. Ne ...

Nilaihah Records is an American independent record label based in Columbus, Ohio. It was founded in 1999 by Kristy Venrick of The Azoic, after Oneiroid Psychosis asked her to release their next album. Since then, the label has signed acts spanning a variety of electronic music styles, such as Unheilig, The Azoic, and Frozen Plasma. Eric Eldredge
The given name Eric, Erich, Erikk, Erik, Erick, or Eirik is derived from the Old Norse name ''Eiríkr'' (or ''Eríkr'' in Old East Norse due to monophthongization). The first element, ''ei-'' may be derived from the older Proto-Norse ''* aina(z)'', meaning "one, alone, unique", ''as in the form'' ''Æ∆inrikr'' explicitly, but it could also be from ''* aiwa(z)'' "everlasting, eternity", as in the Gothic form ''Euric''. The second element ''- ríkr'' stems either from Proto-Germanic ''* ríks'' "king, ruler" (cf. Gothic ''reiks'') or the therefrom derived ''* ríkijaz'' "kingly, powerful, rich, prince"; from the common Proto-Indo-European root * h₃rḗǵs. The name is thus usually taken to mean "sole ruler, autocrat" or "eternal ruler, ever powerful". ''Eric'' used in the sense of a proper noun meaning "one ruler" may be the origin of ''Eriksgata'', and if so it would have meant "one ruler's journey". The tour was the medieval Swedish king's journey, when newly elected, to s ...

Angels In Disguise (album)
''Angels in Disguise'' is the second album released by Interface and considered by many of its fans as its best to date. Clocking in at over 71 minutes, the album spans many different styles, from electro-industrial to trance to synthpop, with traces of trip hop and jungle for good measure. As with the debut album, it was almost entirely produced and performed by Eric Eldredge. It was released by Tinman Records on July 15, 2002. Critics in magazines such as Industrial Nation, Side Line, and Outburn were highly taken with the album's overall positive imagery, which is uncommon in this genre. Part of the reason behind the vast improvements in the band's sound was the major upgrades Eldredge did to Interface's studio in the three-plus years between albums. The album produced several club ready tracks, such as "Wasted Time", "Ability", "Temperature", and the title track, all of which found their way onto playlists of many dance clubs, radio stations, webcasts, and podcasts. Printed Circuit Board
A printed circuit board (PCB; also printed wiring board or PWB) is a medium used in Electrical engineering, electrical and electronic engineering to connect electronic components to one another in a controlled manner. It takes the form of a Lamination, laminated sandwich structure of conductive and insulating layers: each of the conductive layers is designed with an artwork pattern of traces, planes and other features (similar to wires on a flat surface) Chemical milling, etched from one or more sheet layers of copper Lamination, laminated onto and/or between sheet layers of a Insulator (electricity), non-conductive substrate. Electrical components may be fixed to conductive pads on the outer layers in the shape designed to accept the component's terminals, generally by means of soldering, to both electrically connect and mechanically fasten them to it. Another manufacturing process adds Via (electronics), vias: plated-through holes that allow interconnections between layers. ...

Assemblage 23
Assemblage 23 is an electronic act from the United States, currently based in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. It was founded in 1988 by Tom Shear who writes the music and lyrics and does the recording himself. Live performances are supported by Paul Seegers on keyboards and Mike Jenney on drums. History 1980s–1990s (pre–Assemblage 23) Prior to starting Assemblage 23, Shear experimented with music under the name Man on a Stage, beginning in the early 1980s. Most of Shear's music at this point was instrumental, as he lacked the confidence to sing; the quality of the music itself was highly questionable by his own admission. Shear eventually began to add vocals to his music; at the same time, Shear was also playing bass in a live band called the Advocates. Assemblage 23 was officially born in 1988, after Shear experienced the industrial dance music played by an opening DJ for Depeche Mode. The style of this genre deeply impressed Shear; he believed he had finally found the sort of s ...
