Bexley F.C.
Bexley Football Club is a football club based in Bexley, London, England. They are currently members of the Kent County League Division One West. History Bexley were formed in 1884, becoming registered with the Football Association in 1886. In 1927, Bexley became a senior club. In the 1939–40 season, Bexley entered the FA Cup for the first time, beating Gravesend United 3–1, however their progress in the cup was halted due to World War II. On 24 May 1946, Bexley amalgamated Bexley United into the club. In 1965, Bexley joined the Greater London League, becoming founder members of the London Spartan League in 1975, leaving the league in 1982. In 2010, Bexley joined the Kent County League from the South London Football Alliance, winning promotion to the Premier Division in 2015. In 2019, the club was relegated to the Division One West. The South London Football Alliance was a football competition based in South London, England. It was founded in 1920 and had in its last season 2016/17 a total of 2 divisions with 23 teams. The league was not part of the English football league system as it was not a feeder league within the football pyramid. However it generally fed the Kent County League's bottom divisions, Division Three East and Division Three West. In 2017 it merged with the Bromley and District Football League to form the Bromley and South London League. FA Vase
The Football Association Challenge Vase, usually referred to as the FA Vase, is an annual football competition for teams playing in Steps 5 and 6 of the English National League System (or equivalently, tier 9 or 10 of the overall English football league system). For the 2017–18 season 619 entrants were accepted, with two qualifying rounds preceding the six proper rounds, semi-finals (played over two legs) and final to be played at Wembley Stadium. The Kent County League is a football competition based in Kent, England. The league has seven senior divisions – a Premier Division, Division One East and West, Division Two East and West and Division Three East and West. It sits below the Southern Counties East League Division One (step 6 of the National League System) since the 2016–17 season.
