''Bewitched'' is a 2005 American romantic comedy fantasy film co-written, produced, and directed by Nora Ephron, and starring Nicole Kidman and Will Ferrell alongside an ensemble cast featuring Shirley MacLaine, Michael Caine, Jason Schwartzman, Kristin Chenoweth (in her first film appearance), Heather Burns, Jim Turner, Stephen Colbert, David Alan Grier, Michael Badalucco, Carole Shelley, and Steve Carell. Nora Ephron
Nora Ephron ( ; May 19, 1941 – June 26, 2012) was an American journalist, writer, and filmmaker. She is best known for her romantic comedy films and was nominated three times for the Writers Guild of America Award and the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for '' Silkwood'' (1983), '' When Harry Met Sally...'' (1989), and '' Sleepless in Seattle'' (1993). Witchcraft traditionally means the use of magic or supernatural powers to harm others. A practitioner is a witch.
