Beverly Hills Bodysnatchers
''Beverly Hills Bodysnatchers'' is a 1989 comedy film directed by Jonathan Mostow. Plot A doctor and a mortician team up to do re-animation experiments on corpses using money borrowed from the mafia. When they can't pay it back, the mafia boss sends his nephews to work at the funeral home to keep a watch on the debtors. The nephews end up helping to search for new bodies, and mayhem ensues when some undesirable types are re-animated. Jonathan Mostow
Jonathan Mostow (born November 28, 1961) is an American film director, screenwriter, and producer. He has directed films such as ''Breakdown (1997 film), Breakdown'', ''U-571 (film), U-571'', ''Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines'', and ''Surrogates''. Early life Mostow was born in Woodbridge, Connecticut. His father George Daniel Mostow was a mathematician, and his mother is a social worker. He graduated from Harvard University. He also trained at the American Repertory Company and the Lee Strasberg Institute. He grew up in a Conservative Judaism, Conservative Jewish household. Career In 1989, Mostow directed a direct-to-video horror comedy, ''Beverly Hills Bodysnatchers''. Christian Hoff (born April 21, 1968) is an American actor. Biography Hoff was born in San Francisco, California, and later moved with his family to San Diego. At eight years old he began acting at the San Diego Junior Theater, and not long after was playing Winthrop in ''The Music Man''. Career Since then he has appeared on numerous television, big screen and Broadway shows. Most recently, he had a guest role as Marty on ''All My Children''. Mayhem is a common law criminal offense consisting of the intentional maiming of another person. Under the law of England and Wales and other common law jurisdictions, it originally consisted of the intentional and wanton removal of a body part that would handicap a person's ability to defend themselves in combat.
