Concrete is a composite material composed of fine and coarse aggregate bonded together with a fluid cement (cement paste) that hardens (cures) over time. Roberto Taylor dos Santos Moraes (born 4 February 1963), better known as Betão, is a Brazilian former professional footballer who played as a right back. Career Born in Pelotas, Betão began his career at EC Pelotas, and later played for SC Internacional. In 1982 he had his first spell at Sport Recife, a team for which he became an idol and in 1987 when he won the Brazilian championship. He also had spells at Santos, Guarani, Portuguesa, Botafogo among other teams, until he ended his career in 1996 at Itumbiara EC. International career Betão played for the Brazil under-20 team in 1981, being runner-up in South American Championship and champion of the Toulon Tournament. Ebert Willian Amâncio or simply Betão (born 11 November 1983), is a Brazilian former professional footballer. He plays as a central defender and can also play on the right side of the back four. Betão is known for his positioning, aerial ability, strength and coverage of the opposing players. Career Amâncio began his career in Corinthians before signing a four-year contract with Sochaux for €1 million on 6 August 2007. On 14 August 2007, Sochaux decided to sell him, which led to Betão returning to Corinthians. Betão's contract with Corinthians expired on 31 December 2007 and was offered a three-year renewal but declined. After 14 years playing for Corinthians and wearing the captain's armband during the 2007 season, Betão was released from Corinthians after being made the scapegoat of the team's relegation by the chairman at the time.
