Between The Pines
''Between the Pines'' is an acoustic mixtape by American country music singer Sam Hunt. Hunt released the mixtape for free in October 2013, by his website. Some of the songs later appeared on his debut studio album ''Montevallo'', while some were recorded by other artists. The mixtape was re-released on October 27, 2015, by MCA Nashville to commemorate the one-year anniversary of Hunt's debut studio album ''Montevallo.'' The album has sold 34,000 copies in the US as of January 2016. Sam Lowry Hunt (born December 8, 1984) is an American singer and songwriter. Born in Cedartown, Georgia, Hunt played football in his high school and college years and once attempted to pursue a professional sports career before signing with MCA Nashville in 2014. Prior to his successful solo career, Hunt was credited for writing singles for Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban, Billy Currington, and Reba McEntire. His debut studio album, '' Montevallo'', broke several chart records with five singles spawned from the record, including three consecutive Hot Country Songs chart and four Country Airplay chart number ones. Trevor Joseph Rosen (born February 18, 1975) is an American country music songwriter and musician. He is also a member of the American country music band Old Dominion, in which he plays guitar and keyboards. Early life Trevor Rosen grew up in Woodhaven, Michigan, a southern suburb of Detroit. Marc Beeson (born December 20, 1954 in Champaign, Illinois) is an American country music singer and songwriter. Beeson has co-written several singles which have reached the Hot Country Songs charts.
