André Roberto Soares da Silva or known as Beto (born 25 October 1981) is a Brazilian association football, football player who plays as a forward (association football), striker most recently for Esporte Clube Novo Hamburgo, Novo Hamburgo. Career Club On 25 July 2003, Beto was signed by Ferro Carril Oeste. On 19 July 2005, he signed a deal until 31 December 2008 for Criciúma Esporte Clube, Criciúma for which he was champion of Campeonato Brasileiro Série C, Brazilian Série C (title won in 2006). However, on 2 January 2007, he left for Bulgaria's PFC Litex Lovech, Litex Lovech. He has also played for Sport Club Internacional, Internacional, Esporte Clube Juventude, Juventude in Brazil and Ulbra, Itual and Sero Kariu of Argentina. In the summer of 2012 signed a contract with FK Khazar Lankaran, Khazar Lankaran. Beto had his contract with Khazar Lankaran cancelled in November 2012, after only playing 5 matches for the club. The Azerbaijan Premier League ( az, Azərbaycan Premyer Liqası) is a professional league for men's association football clubs. At the top of the Azerbaijan football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. It is contested by 10 clubs. Seasons run from August to May, with teams playing 36 matches each (playing each team in the league four times, twice at home and twice away). The Khazar Lankaran 2012–13 season is Khazar Lankaran's eighth Azerbaijan Premier League season. Khazar Lankaran finished in 8th place in the league, after competing in the Relegation Championship during the second half of the season. They also reached the final of the Azerbaijan Cup, eventually losing to Neftchi Baku on penalties after a 0–0 draw. Khazar Lankaran FK ( tly, Xəzər Lankon Futboli Klub, script=Latn, az, Xəzər Lənkəran Futbol Klubu) is an Azerbaijani football club based in Lankaran that last played in the Azerbaijan Premier League during the 2015–16 season. The 2008–09 Süper Lig (also known as ''Turkcell Super League'' due to sponsoring reasons) was the fifty-first season since its establishment. It began on 22 August 2008 and ended on 31 May 2009. Galatasaray were the defending champions. Beşiktaş clinched the championship after winning at Denizlispor on the last matchday. The latter barely avoided relegation after finishing in a three-way tie on points with Gençlerbirliği and Konyaspor. Head-to-head comparison between those three teams eventually resulted in the demotion of Konyaspor, who joined Kocaelispor and Hacettepe on their way to the second-level First League.
