Bethan Ellis
Bethan Louisa Ellis (born 7 July 1999) is an English cricketer who currently plays for Warwickshire and Central Sparks. She plays primarily as a right-arm medium bowler, as a well as a right-handed lower-order batter. She has previously played for Shropshire, Worcestershire, Derbyshire and Lightning. Early life Ellis was born on 7 July 1999, and grew up in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire. She has a degree in Sports Science from the University of Birmingham. Domestic career Ellis began playing for Warwickshire at Under-13 level, and made her debut for the senior team in 2015, in a match against Surrey. She scored 2 * and did not bowl. In 2016, she went on loan to Shropshire, and was the joint-second leading wicket-taker in their win of Division 4 S&W in the County Championship. Fast bowling (also referred to as pace bowling) is one of two main approaches to bowling in the sport of cricket, the other being spin bowling. Practitioners of pace bowling are usually known as ''fast'' bowlers, ''quicks'', or ''pacemen''. The Surrey Women's cricket team is the women's representative cricket team for the English historic county of Surrey. They play their home games at various grounds across the county, including Reed's School Ground, Cobham, as well as The Oval and Woodbridge Road, Guildford. They are captained by Aylish Cranstone and coached by Jonathan Batty. Welsh Fire ( cy, Tân Cymreig) are a franchise 100-ball cricket side based in the city of Cardiff. The team represents the historic counties of Glamorgan, Gloucestershire and Somerset in the newly founded competition called The Hundred, which took place for the first time during the 2021 English and Welsh cricket season. Both the men's and women's teams play their home games at Sophia Gardens in Cardiff. Sarah Jennifer Bryce (born 8 January 2000) is a Scottish cricketer who plays for the national cricket team as a wicket-keeper-batter. The 2020 Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy was the first edition of the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy, an English women's cricket domestic competition, which took place between 29 August and 27 September 2020. It featured eight teams in two groups, and had a final. The tournament was named after former England captain Rachael Heyhoe Flint, Baroness Heyhoe-Flint, who died in 2017. The competition was won by Southern Vipers, who beat Northern Diamonds in the final. Somerset Women Cricket Team
The Somerset Women cricket team is the women's representative cricket team for the English ceremonial county of Somerset. They play their home games at various grounds across Somerset, most often in Taunton, and are captained by Sophie Luff. Somerset consistently competed in either Division 1 or Division 2 of the Women's County Championship, and won Division 2 of the Women's Twenty20 Cup in 2019.
