Best In The World '16
Best in the World '16 was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by Ring of Honor (ROH). It took place in Cabarrus Arena in Concord, North Carolina on June 24, 2016. It was the seventh annual ROH Best in the World event. The event saw the appearance of WCW legend Kevin Sullivan. Eight matches took place at the event. In the main event, Jay Lethal defeated Jay Briscoe to retain the ROH World Championship in their rematch since last year's event. Other prominent matches were B. J. Ring Of Honor
Ring of Honor (ROH) is an American professional wrestling promotion based in Jacksonville, Florida. The promotion was founded by Rob Feinstein on February 23, 2002, and was operated by Cary Silkin from 2004 until 2011, when the promotion was sold to the Sinclair Broadcast Group. After a deal was struck in March 2022, ROH was officially sold to All Elite Wrestling (AEW) founder, co-owner, president, and CEO Tony Khan two months later. Mark Pugh (born January 18, 1985) is an American professional wrestler best known as Mark Briscoe. He is currently signed with Ring of Honor, where he is the current one-half of ROH World Tag Team Champions with Jay Briscoe in their thirteenth reign. Quinn Ojinnaka (born April 23, 1984) is an American professional wrestler and former American football player. He is currently signed to Impact Wrestling, where he performs under the ring name Moose, and is a former one-time Impact World Champion. Bullet Club
(stylised as BULLET CLUB), sometimes shortened to BC, is a professional wrestling stable primarily appearing in the Japanese promotion New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). In the United States, the group currently appears on NJPW events run by the company's subsidiary, NJPW of America, as well as U.S. partner promotion Impact Wrestling. Joshua Harter (born February 4, 1982), better known by his ring name Chris Sabin, is an American professional wrestler. He is currently signed to Impact Wrestling, and is also known for his work in Ring of Honor. After being trained by Scott D'Amore, Sabin debuted in 2000 for Border City Wrestling (BCW), and quickly began competing for numerous other independent promotions.
