''Best Selling Secrets'' (Traditional Chinese: 同事三分親) is a TVB modern sitcom series broadcast from March 2007 to August 2008. The sitcom is about office politics in an advertisement company, as well as family and romantic relationships amongst the characters. Synopsis Wong Ka-Nam (Esther Kwan) disappeared to the United States, leaving behind her son and husband in Hong Kong. When her husband dies in an airplane accident looking for her, Wong Ka-Nam's son, Luk Chit (Vin Choi) is taken into the custody of her mother-in-law, Ng Hang ( Elaine Jin). After eighteen long years, Wong Ka-Nam wishes to see her son again and returns to Hong Kong. However, she is met with adamant resistance from her mother-in-law, who views Ka-Nam as bad luck, blaming her for the death of her son. Esther Kwan
Esther Kwan Wing-ho (), born 16 July 1964 is a Hong Kong retired actress formerly contracted to TVB and ATV. Career Kwan began her acting career after high school at ATV from 1988 to 1993. She moved over to TVB in 1993 and has been at the broadcaster on and off. Kwan met Hong Kong actor Nick Cheung while she was still working for ATV. The couple married on 8 November 2004 in Australia. Their daughter, Brittany Cheung (張童) was born on 24 January 2006. In 2008, Kwan left acting to spend more time with her daughter, only returning to film two TVB dramas ''The Season of Fate'' (2010) and ''Always and Ever'' (2013). Brian Burrell
Brian Thomas Burrell (, born March 23, 1972) is an American–Hong Kong actor best known for his roles in Cantonese television productions in Hong Kong. Burrell is also one of the few non-Chinese actors in Hong Kong broadcaster TVB's artiste profiles over the years. Elvina Kong
Elvina Kong Yan-yin (; born 6 July 1967) is a Hong Kong television actress and presenter currently under contract to TVB. Background Kong was born in British Hong Kong on 6 July 1967. She was a finalist in the New Talent Singing Contest 1985 run by TVB. She sang chorus "Goodbye Puppy Love" alone. Her performance impressed TVB and was offered a contract despite winning no awards.
