Best II is the fourth compilation album by Japanese singer Akina Nakamori. Background The compilation album contains all the singles released between 1986 and 1988: from the single '' Nonfiction Ecstasy'' until latest single released in 1988 ''I Missed The Shock'' during that time. The singles ''Nonfiction Ecstasy'', ''Nanpasen'', ''Blonde'', '' Al-Mauj'', ''Tattoo'' and ''I Missed The Shock'' were recorded in the album for first time. A three different album jackets were published in the CD, Vinyl and Cassette Tape. Promotion Singles Nonfiction Ecstasy is the Nakamori's first and only compact cassette single released on 10 November 1986. The single was released with the limited number of copies. ''Best & USA'' is a 2009 album by the South Korean pop singer BoA. A Japanese issue coinciding with the release of her American first album, ''BoA'', it contains the American album (''USA'') as well as a compilation of Japanese singles (''Best''). It was released on March 18, 2009. ''Best & USA'' was better received in Japan than ''BoA'' had been in the U.S., reaching #2 on the Oricon weekly album charts. , known exclusively by his stage name Toshi,Currently stylized as Toshl (with a lowercase L) and previously in all capital letters. is a Japanese singer and songwriter who is the lead vocalist and a co-founder of the rock band X Japan, who rose to prominence in the late 1980s and early 1990s and is credited as founders of the visual kei movement. Toshi began an extensive solo career in 1992 before leaving X Japan at the end of 1997. Toshi laments he was " brainwashed" by a group called Home of Heart, whose leader would control his musical output for the next 12 years. In 2007, X Japan reunited and began a world tour. Anthem (band)
is a Japanese heavy metal band that was formed during the early 1980s in Tokyo. They are among the many heavy metal bands founded in Japan during that time and are considered to be one of the most successful and influential, alongside Loudness and Earthshaker. History Early years (1981–1985) Anthem was founded in Tokyo during 1980 as a quartet, composed of singer Toshihito Maeda, guitarist Akifumi Koyanagi, bass player Naoto Shibata (also known as "Ski") and drummer Takamasa Ohuchi. William Anthony Colón Román (born April 28, 1950) is an American salsa musician and social activist. He began his career as a trombonist and also sings, writes, produces and acts. He is also involved in the politics of New York City. Colón is considered a pioneer of Salsa music and a best-selling artist in the genre, having been a key figure in the nascent New York City scene associated with the legendary Fania Records. He is also noteworthy for having assumed the gangster image in his album covers before it was culturally popular. Early years Colón was born in the South Bronx in New York City to Puerto Rican parents.
