Besik Aslanasvili ( gr, Μπέζικ Ασλανασβίλι; born October 22, 1976, in Tbilisi, Georgian SSR) is a retired amateur Greek freestyle wrestler, who competed in the men's lightweight category. Holding a dual citizenship to compete internationally, Aslanasvili has been selected to the nation's Olympic wrestling team when Greece hosted the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, and also picked up a gold medal in the 63-kg division at the 2001 Mediterranean Games in Tunis, Tunisia. Throughout his sporting career, Aslanasvili trained full-time for Atlas Kallitheas Wrestling Club in Athens, under personal coach Michail Charachura. Aslanasvili qualified for the naturalized Greek squad in the men's lightweight class (60 kg), when Greece welcomed the world to the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. Bessik Khamashuridze (geo: ბესიკ ხამაშურიძე; born 14 August 1977, in Kutaisi) is a former Georgian rugby union player and a current coach. He played as a fullback. Khamashuridze played for Rugby Club Cannes Mandelieu, in France. He had 59 caps for Georgia, from 1998 to 2011, scoring 14 tries, 70 points on aggregate. Besik Serodinovich Kudukhov (russian: Бесик Серoдинович Кудухов, os, Къудухты Серодины фырт Бесик; 15 August 1986 – 29 December 2013) was a Russian freestyle wrestler of Ossetian descent. He won a bronze medal in the 55 kg category at the 2008 Olympics. He also won a silver medal in the 60 kg category at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. Career Kudukhov took up wrestling in 1995 and was selected for the Russian national team in 2005. He was an Olympic finalist in 2012 and was considered one of the most dominant wrestlers in modern wrestling history. Besik "Beso" Shengelia ( ka, ბესიკ ესოშენგელია; 3 November 1967 – 28 February 2016) was a Georgian naval officer, Captain 1st Rank, who commanded the Georgian Navy in 2008. Shengelia attended a naval college in Kiev, Ukraine, from 1984 to 1988. After four years of service in the Soviet Black Sea Fleet, Shengelia joined the military of a newly independent Georgia, rising to take command of a marine battalion in 1997. He commanded a separate naval division from 1998 to 2000 and a naval brigade from 2000 to 2001. He was the chief of staff of the Georgian navy from 2004 to 2005, commander of a naval squadron from 2006 to 2008 and commander of the Georgian navy in 2008.
