Bert La Bonté
Bert La Bonté is an Australian actor. Early life La Bonté grew up in Melbourne's southeastern suburbs with his parents and two older sisters. His parents migrated from Mauritius in the late 1960s. He discovered a passion for acting at nine when he played Fagin in his school production of ''Oliver!''. Career At 17 La Bonté enrolled in performing arts at the University of Ballarat. ''Oliver!'' is a coming-of-age stage musical, with book, music and lyrics by Lionel Bart. The musical is based upon the 1838 novel '' Oliver Twist'' by Charles Dickens.
