Bernie Kukoff
Bernie Kukoff is an American television director, producer and writer. He has produced and written for the television series ''Operation Petticoat'', ''A Touch of Grace'', ''The Cosby Show'', '' Thea'', ''Detective School'' and ''Diff'rent Strokes'', creating the latter two series with Jeff Harris. He also created the NBC series ''Rags to Riches''. Kukoff and Harris (with Harry Colomby and Norman Steinberg) also co-scripted the 1984 film ''Johnny Dangerously'' with Harris. The film starred Michael Keaton and was directed by Amy Heckerling Amy Heckerling (born May 7, 1954) is an American filmmaker. Operation Petticoat
''Operation Petticoat'' is a 1959 American World War II submarine comedy film in Eastmancolor from Universal-International, produced by Robert Arthur, directed by Blake Edwards, that stars Cary Grant and Tony Curtis. The film tells in flashback the misadventures of a fictional U.S. Navy submarine, USS ''Sea Tiger'', during the Battle of the Philippines in the opening days of the United States involvement in World War II. Some elements of the screenplay were taken from actual incidents that happened with some of the Pacific Fleet's submarines during the war. Amy Heckerling (born May 7, 1954) is an American filmmaker. An alumna of both New York University and the American Film Institute, she directed the commercially successful films ''Fast Times at Ridgemont High'' (1982), ''National Lampoon's European Vacation'' (1985), ''Look Who's Talking'' (1989), and ''Clueless'' (1995). ''Johnny Dangerously'' is a 1984 American crime comedy film, and a parody of 1930s crime/gangster movies. It was directed by Amy Heckerling. The film stars Michael Keaton as an honest, goodhearted man who turns to a life of crime to finance his mother's skyrocketing medical bills and to put his younger brother through law school.
