Bernie Castro
Bernabel "Bernie" Castro (born July 14, 1979) is a former Major League Baseball second baseman. He played two major league seasons, one each with the Washington Nationals and Baltimore Orioles. Career The New York Yankees signed Castro as an international free agent in . In baseball, an at bat (AB) or time at bat is a batter's turn batting against a pitcher. An at bat is different from a plate appearance. A batter is credited with a plate appearance regardless of what happens during their turn at bat, but a batter is credited with an at bat only if that plate appearance does not have one of the results enumerated below. The team, also known as the DSL Pirates, plays in the Boca Chica, Dominican Republic, as a member of the Boca Chica North Division and are affiliated with the Pittsburgh Pirates.
