Bernardo Domínguez
Bernardo Domínguez Fernández (born 6 July 1979), known simply as Bernardo, is a Spanish former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Club career Born in Zafra, Province of Badajoz, Bernardo started playing professionally with Real Oviedo. In the 1999–2000 season he was part the club's La Liga roster, but would only appear officially with the reserves during his spell in Asturias, subsequently resuming his career in Segunda División B. In 2005, Bernardo returned to the professionals with Deportivo Alavés in Segunda División, who loaned him for two seasons to fellow league side CD Tenerife. He was first-choice in three of those four campaigns – being relegated in 2008–09 with the Basques – then backed up Vicente Guaita and Fabri at Recreativo de Huelva (also in that level) for two years. Zafra
Zafra () is a town situated in the Province of Badajoz (Extremadura, Spain), and the capital of the comarca of Zafra - Río Bodión. It has a population of 16,677, according to the 2011 census. James Jefferies (born 22 November 1950 in Musselburgh) is a Scottish football manager and former player. Jefferies played for Heart of Midlothian for almost his whole playing career and enjoyed a successful first managerial spell with the club, winning the 1998 Scottish Cup. Jefferies has also managed Gala Fairydean, Berwick Rangers, Falkirk, Bradford City, Kilmarnock and Dunfermline Athletic. A transfer window is the period during the year in which a football club can transfer players from other playing staff into their playing staff. Such a transfer is completed by registering the player into the new club through FIFA. "Transfer window" is the unofficial term commonly used by the media for the concept of "registration period" as described in the FIFA Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players. 2008–09 Segunda División
The 2008–09 Segunda División season (known from that season as Liga Adelante for sponsorship reasons) was the 78th since its establishment. The first matches of the season were played on 30 August 2008, and the season ended on 21 June 2009. Real Zaragoza, Real Murcia and Levante were the teams relegated from La Liga the previous season. Alicante, Girona, Huesca and Rayo Vallecano were the teams promoted from Segunda División B the previous season. The first goal of the season was scored by Alexandre Geijo, who scored in the 11th minute for Levante against Real Zaragoza in the early kick-off.
