Bernard Ruiz-Picasso
Bernard Ruiz-Picasso (born 3 September 1959) is a businessman and art collector. He is the grandson of Pablo Picasso and the son of Paul and Christine Ruiz-Picasso. He curates international exhibitions dedicated to Pablo Picasso. Biography Bernard Ruiz-Picasso is the son of Paul Ruiz-Picasso, the first child of Pablo Picasso and his legitimate wife Olga Khokhlova, and is therefore the only "legitimate heir" of his grandfather's works, according to the legal system in place before 2002, together with his half-sister Marina Picasso. As such he is considered to be the person with the most important collection of Picasso's works. He organised his first exhibition, presenting seventy paintings from his collections, in 2000 at the Kunstforum in Vienna, Austria. Almine Rech Ruiz-Picasso ( Rech) is a French art dealer and owner of the eponymous contemporary art gallery. The gallery has exhibition spaces in Paris, Brussels, London, New York and Shanghai. The gallery opened in 1997 in Paris. Early life and education Almine Rech was born in Paris to a Vietnamese-French mother and a French father, Georges Rech, who founded one of France's first ready-to-wear labels in the 1960s. Marina Picasso (born 14 November 1950) is the granddaughter of Pablo Picasso. She inherited a fifth of her grandfather's estate and has used much of the inheritance to fund humanitarian efforts for children in need. Olga Khokhlova
Olga Picasso (born Olga Stepanovna Khokhlova; russian: Ольга Степановна Хохлова; 17 June 1891 – 11 February 1955) was a ballet dancer in the Russian ballet. She was also the first wife of Pablo Picasso, one of his early artistic muses and the mother of his son, Paulo. Early life Khokhlova was born in the town of Nizhyn, Chernigov Governorate, Russian Empire (present-day Ukraine) on 17 June 1891.
