Bernard Klatt is a former Canadian internet service provider who ran what has been called "Canada's most notorious source of hate propaganda". In 1996, his Fairview Technology Centre in Oliver, British Columbia hosted websites for "at least 12 groups promoting white supremacy and hate against minorities" according to the Simon Wiesenthal Centre.Hate groups using B.C. The Simon Wiesenthal Center (SWC) is a Jewish human rights organization established in 1977 by Rabbi Marvin Hier. Heritage Front
The Heritage Front was a Canadian neo-Nazi white supremacist organization founded in 1989 and disbanded around 2005. The Heritage Front maintained a telephone message line with a different editorial each day. The voice on the hotline was Gary Schipper. The line resulted in complaints to the Canadian Human Rights Commission and hearings into allegations that the group violated Canada's hate crime laws. The group organized a series of white power rock concerts in Toronto and elsewhere. Marc Lemire
Marc Lemire (born 1975) is a Canadian. He works closely with leader Paul Fromm, and is the webmaster of the Hamilton, Ontario-based Freedom-Site which he began in 1996. Formerly of Toronto and now living in Hamilton, Lemire was the last president of the Heritage Front organization from January 1, 2001 until the organization folded around 2005. He was employed as a network analyst in the IT department of the City of Hamilton, Ontario from around 2005 until 2019, when he agreed to resign. Early career In 1997, Lemire ran for school trustee in Toronto Public School Ward P17, but lost after receiving only 2,503 votes (or 12% of the total). Reginald Douglas Collins (8 September 1920 – 29 September 2001) was a British-born Canadian journalist. He was also a Holocaust denier who was frequently accused of racism and anti-Semitism. Military service At the start of World War II he joined the British Army. As a sergeant in the Gloucestershire Regiment, he was captured in the Battle of Dunkirk in 1940, later being awarded the Military Medal for bravery during this campaign. During his four years as a prisoner of war, he made no fewer than ten escape attempts. He was able to escape from a German POW camp in Silesia and stealthily made his way to Hungary. After being captured there, he made another daring escape, this time making his way to Romania. There he was imprisoned once again, but when Romania capitulated in 1944, he was freed and returned to Britain, serving in combat with British forces in northwest Europe during the war's final months.
