Berkeley Park, Atlanta
Berkeley Park is a neighborhood located in West Midtown Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Berkeley Park was established in 1921, and for a time was considered a part of Underwood Hills. In 1996, Berkeley Park was again recognized as an official neighborhood in the city of Atlanta. The neighborhood boundaries of Berkeley Park are I-75 to the north, Northside Drive on the east, Howell Mill Road to the west and 17th Street to the south. West Midtown
West Midtown, also known as Westside, is a colloquial area, comprising many historical neighborhoods located in Atlanta, Georgia. Once largely industrial, West Midtown is now the location of urban lofts, art galleries, live music venues, retail and restaurants. Nomenclature West Midtown is directly west of Midtown Atlanta, hence that name. However, the name for the area is a matter of debate. The name "West Midtown" is used by the neighbors' association in Home Park, the largest constituent neighborhood, the West Midtown Business Association, and Westside Provisions, a privately run commercial district. The Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau uses West Midtown and defines the Westside as consisting of West Midtown and Atlantic Station. Underwood Hills is a neighborhood in Buckhead Atlanta, Georgia, United States. History The neighborhood was founded in 1902, when it was dubbed Northside Park, but construction in the area, in what at that point was the edge of the city, didn't pick up steam until the 1920s. I-75
Interstate 75 (I-75) is a major north–south Interstate Highway in the Great Lakes and Southeastern regions of the United States. As with most Interstates that end in 5, it is a major cross-country, north–south route, traveling from State Road 826 (SR 826, Palmetto Expressway) and SR 924 (Gratigny Parkway) on the Hialeah–Miami Lakes border (northwest of Miami, Florida) to Sault Ste. The National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) is the United States federal government's official list of districts, sites, buildings, structures and objects deemed worthy of preservation for their historical significance or "great artistic value".
